EBSCOhost 2.0 Overview – myEBSCOhost

The Library recommends that students create a myEBSCOhost login, and that students log into myEBSCOhost every time they start to use an EBSCOhost database. EBSCOhost uses these accounts to allow you to personalize your search interface, but more importantly, you can save lists of articles for all of your classes, and make them available to yourself all of the time.

To create a myEBSCOhost account, open one of our EBSCOhost databases (e.g.Academic Search Premier), and click on the "Sign into myEBSCOhost" link on the top of the screen.

At the next screen, click on "I'm a new user" and create a username and password for yourself. Be sure to remember your preferred email address when you create your account. Whatever email address you enter, that's the address where they'll send journal article alerts or any full-text articles you choose to email to yourself.

After you've created your account we recommend that you log in every time you use EBSCOhost. This way, you'll be able to alter your search preferences and have those govern your experience in the database, but more importantly, you'll be able to save your useful search results to a folder that you can get at anywhere.
