Senior Artwork on Display in Library

The Franklin Pierce Fine Arts Department presents the 2008 senior art show in several locations around campus, including the Library. The exhibit is titled "Cramped: Big Ideas, Little Spaces" and features artwork in a variety of media, including stoneware, porcelain, paintings and prints, and blown and stained glass.

More artwork is on display in the Thoreau Gallery, Alumni Lounge, and the Monadnock Fine Arts Department. The exhibit runs through May 17th. Please stop by and enjoy the accomplishments of these talented seniors.

Graphic Novels on Display in Library

The library has a circulating collection of graphic novels, which are texts that tell a story using both pictures and words, like comic books. Many sections of College Writing II read from Marjane Satrapi's award-winning graphic novel, Persepolis. The 300 and V For Vendetta are graphic novels that have been made into major feature films.

Graphic novels are shelved in several different locations in the library, but we've pulled together a display of some of them in the main display case on the first floor.

If you're interested in checking out one of the graphic novels in the display case, please just ask at the Circulation Counter for help.

Library Web Site Down Time

The Library's Web site (and off-site access to library resources) will be interrupted intermittently today while our systems are upgraded. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you find the site unavailable during the day and need assistance, please contact the library at 603-899-4140 and we will attempt to assist you over the phone.
